Meet Entry Procedures

Penn-Del League Dual Meet Entries (WINTER ONLY)
  1. Check the team WEB SITE, www.LCYSwim.org, BULLETIN BOARD OR FAMILY FILES for upcoming Penn-Del League Dual meets.
  2. If your swimmer(s) is ABLE to attend, do nothing at this time.  The coaching staff will enter your swimmer(s) in up to three events (this includes relays).
  3. If your swimmer(s) is UNABLE to attend follow these procedures:
    • Find the black binder located in the back of the FAMILY FILES.
    • Find the MEET ROSTER that corresponds with the date your swimmer(s) is(are) unable to attend.
    • Find your swimmer(s) name and strikethrough just the name with pen or pencil.
    • All swimmers UNABLE to attend a Penn-Del League Dual meet must strikethrough their name on the MEET ROSTER by 6:00 PM the MONDAY prior to the scheduled meet.
    • All swimmers who learn of their INABILITY to attend after MONDAY should contact the HEAD COACH by VOICEMAIL at their earliest convenience.
    • Emergency callouts will be checked until 9:00 AM SATURDAY of the meet.

Invitational/Championship Meet Entries
  1. Check the team WEB SITE, www.LCYSwim.org, BULLETIN BOARD OR FAMILY FILES for upcoming Invitational and Championship meets.
  2. Read the Meet Announcement Flyer carefully to learn the minimum and maximum number of individual events each swimmer may enter.
  3. Individual Entries:
    • Find the swimmer's name on the Meet Eligibility Report posted on team bulletin board.   Swimmers not listed either do not meet the age requirement, do not meet the time standard requirement, or do not meet the registration requirement (USA Swimming).   If you feel you were omitted in error, please contact the HEAD COACH immediately.
    • Circle the events the swimmer wishes to swim.
    • If you are unsure which events to sign up for, circle the swimmers name and the coaching staff will select appropriate events for your child.
  4. Relay Entries:
    • If relay events are offered, the coaches will enter the best possible relays.
    • All swimmers entered individaully are eligible for relay assignment.
  5. All entries should be selected by 6:00 PM of the date posted on the meet announcement.
  6. No entries will be accepted once the eligibilty report is removed for submission.
  7. Fees for individaul and relay events will be deducted from the swimmer's escrow account.
  8. Meet Entry Reports, including relays, will be posted to the web site for review.

Please do not remove meet information from the team bulletin board so that it remains accessible to all team members.
